KARACHI: Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Peshawar Zalmi owner and renowned businessman Javed Afridi congratulated the wrong person on being nominated for Sind
h governor on Thursday.
According to Javed Afridi, Shahid Afridi was the new nominee for Sind
h governor, as the Zalmi owner tweeted, “Congrats Shahid Afridi for nomination as Governor Sindh.”
Realising his mistake, he then posted an apologetic tweet, “Sorry for tagging the wrong person! It’s another Shahid!” The businessman’s first tweet stunned the entire nation and everyone started to wonder if Shahid Afridi could be the next Sind
h governor.
The tweets spread all over the media and twi
tter and became a source for trolls to mak
e fun of both Javed and Shahid. Javed Afridi eventually deleted both tweets from his twi
tter account.
