ISLAMABAD: 900 Islamabad Police and Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel will
perform duty on Christmas on Sunday, 25 December in the federal capital.
According to a police source, comprehensive security arrangements had been made to ensure foolproof security around churches and other public places on Christmas.
Mobile Eagle, Falcon Squads and Police Commandos would ensure security by
patrolling the areas ne
ar churches. Security had also been tightened at all entry and exit points of the capital to avoid any untoward inci
dent during the occasion.
In addition, police officers in pla
in clothes would also
perform duty. Strict action would also be taken against beggars and suspects along with checking being done of hotels and guest houses.
