KARACHI: At least five suspect
s were arrested after s
ecurity authorities conducted search operations across Karachi, late Saturday night.
A suspect was apprehended while three of his accomplices managed to escape from the scene according to police, weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the hideout.
A
case has been registered against the suspects.
In a similar operation conducted in Karachi’s Garden area, police arrested three suspects who were said to be involved in counts of robberies and theft.
S
ecurity authorities also recovered arms and ammunition from the site.
A
case was registered against them in Jamshed Quarters police station.
Police conducted a raid in Lyari, which resulted in the apprehension of suspect Irfan, who reportedly had clos
e ties with Uzair Baloch’s gr
oup.
