on against K-
Electric for its unannounced and lengthy load shedding during the month of Ramada
n.
According to NEPRA, K-
Electric did not pay heed to the orders of the regu
latory authority. Load shedding was not according to schedule in the city of Karachi.
Electricity breakdowns were observed as well consistently throughout the holy month of Ramadan. The investigation team of NEPRA also viewed the system of K-
Electric to gain a better understanding of the situatio
n.
According to NEPRA, the distribution of elec
tricity in Karachi could not be improved.
