KARACHI: Rangers have carried out a search operation in the city’s Landhi area and recovered a large cache of arms and munitions buried underground.
Rangers – on information received from the
detained suspects affiliated with military wing
of a political party – se
aled all the entry and exit points of Landhi before conducting a search operation in the area.
Rangers searched the nullah located near
Chiragh hotel and recovered weapons including grenades, Kalashnikovs and several thousands of bullets – buried underground. The recovered weapons had been used in different
crimes so all the arms have been sent to forensic lab by Rangers for testing.
