ISLAMABAD: Today (Tuesday) Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will end the scrutiny of nomin
ation papers of the candidates for upcoming general elections that are scheduled to be held on July 25.

ssemblies, a total number o
f 21,482 nomin
ation papers have been filed across the country.
As per ECP, at least 15,419 candidates have filed nomin
ation papers for th
e seats of the provincial a
ssemblies while 6,063 candidates will contest for the 342 seats of the National A
ssembly.
A
ccording to ECP appeals against rejection or acceptance of nomin
ation papers can be filed till June 22.
The decision based on the appeal will be filed by June 27 and list of final candidates will be issued on the June 28.
